The mission of Braintrim Baptist Church is to worship God by knowing Jesus Christ personally, growing in Christ consistently, serving Christ faithfully, and sharing Christ zealously.

JOSEPH KILMER

Sr. Pastor

Pastor Kilmer joined Braintrim Baptist Church as an Associate Pastor in 2014.  After the retirement of the Sr. Pastor, he became the Sr. Pastor in January 2017.  He has a strong love for his family, the Word of God, and the people of God.

       WHAT WE BELIEVE

A summary of what we believe is found below.  If you would like to know more about what we believe please contact us.

  • We believe the Bible is inspired by God.

  • We believe in God, eternally existing in three co-equal Persons: Father, Son (Jesus), & Holy Spirit.

  • We believe the Bible teaches that God created the physical universe out of nothing in six, literal, twenty-four hour days.

  • We believe that Adam and Eve's rebellion against God brought physical and spiritual death to all mankind.

  • We believe that the eternal Son of God, Jesus, was born of a virgin as he came to this Earth and that he lived a sinless life as both fully God and fully man.

  • We believe that Jesus died as a voluntary substitute in the sinner's place and by his death and bodily resurrection, he obtained eternal redemption for any who trust in him as Savior.

  • We believe in God the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

  • We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from works and is possessed by all who have repented of their sin and placed their faith in Jesus alone.

  • We believe that God ordained the church as the primary means through which he seeks to accomplish his work in this age.

  • We believe that Jesus established two ordinances: Communion and believer's baptistm by immersion.

  • We believe in an imminent,  pre-tribulational return of Jesus for his church. 

  • We believe in the pre-millenial return of Jesus to Earth to establish his kingdom.

  • We believe in a bodily resurrection of the saved and the unsaved.

  • We believe in a literal heaven for those that placed their faith in Jesus.

  • We believe in a literal hell for all those who have not received the forgiveness of sins through Jesus.
